Lions and Tigers and Bears

We visited the Cameron Park Zoo for the first time yesterday. We were very impressed by how close we were able to get to the animals. Every exhibit had happy animals that were out to give us a show. When we got home David told us, "Zoo, animals." At the bear and tiger exhibit he was imitating the sounds he heard. We had a great day and Greg declared this a new family tradition. It looks like Waco will see us each year at the zoo.
Daddy and David decide where we should visit first...

David snuggled into his stroller with his second lunch of the day, celebrate a good eater today!

still eating as he watches the fish:)!

Can you tell what this is?...

they were huge and there were many of them... David knew they were alligators, surprised his Mommy

David slid straight through the otter exhibit. Mommy forgot to take pictures of the otters on top of the slide, she only captured David

David enjoyed this Orangutan... it carried a blanket, he has just begun asking for a blanket occasionally during the day to carry around

There were tigers, but our pictures did not turn out, so the name made the title, but the pictures did not make the post.

  1. Zoo animal friends' day. You certainly have a close-up look at the animals. What a perfect day at the zoo - weather wise and animal wise.
