Inferring

When Angie reads to David at nap time and bedtime she has been stopping to ask David questions such as "How is the character feeling?"  "How do you know that?"  "Can you think about what may happen next?"  Most of the time David responds with "I don't know."  This is because he really just wants to hear the story.  Every once in a while he will say how the character is feeling, but will not respond when asked how he know the character is feeling a certain way, such as mad.  Thursday at bedtime he had the best response so far, "Just turn the page and read, you will find out."

  1. David's little conversations say a lot about a little one's perspective on life - "a pint size view of the world!"
Love those mini conversations of David's.
