Before Trick or Treating

As we were prepping for our Trick-Or-Treaters David decided we needed to put a sign next to the candy bowls we were planning to leave on the front porch.  He went into the office and got to work.  Greg continued to carve the pumpkin and Angie was cleaning the kitchen and prepping dinner for later.  We wanted to boys to have a healthy meal before the sugar.
Angie asked David for the sign and this is what he brought...
Angie was very proud and impressed with his work.  He drew a ghost and bats  Then wrote completely without any help - Boo! Please 2  with an arrow up because he assumed the bowls would be above his sign.  This is the work of a writer that understands writing communicates messages.  He sees it as purposeful and that makes a writing teacher thrilled!
This is how we left our porch for Trick-Or-Treaters!
