About a week before Valentine's day the boys made cards for their classmates. It honestly went better than Angie expected. This is the first year both boys needed class Valentine's.
At school David painted hearts and wrote the things he loves...
Daddy, Adam, Mommy, and White Blankie
The night before Valentine's Day Mimi and Grandpa Ed watched the boys so that we could go to dinner. 15 years ago on Valentine's day we became engaged.
They also gave the boys their Valentine's cards and treats... apparently David had been telling his teachers about this for a few days.
Mama with her clean Valentine's ready to go to Mimi and Ed's.
16 years with this one!
Valentine's Monring the boys woke to a few treats from us and Gram and Grandad.
But about 5:30 in the morning we heard David in his room - at his art desk. He woke us up with a surprise. HE had been upstairs making his family Valentines! - Sweetest boy!HE even used our favorite colors!
Pink - Angie - When you love me I love you which make which makes you my true love!
Orange - Greg - You have an elephant sized heart. I love you.
Black - Adam - Lets get in the heart and get on the heart.
Next was time for David to get his Valentine treats.
Adam was still sleeping.
$5.00 from Gram and Grandad!David read Adam his cards.
And $5.00 for Adam too.
Angie and Adam took David to school first. Then Angie took Adam to school.
Angie took a half day off to be able to get to both of the boy's schools.
Adam went running into school!
This sweet face!Oh my - this sweet Valentine!
He was so excited when he saw the door to his room.
And Play Dough was out! He had asked to play that at home before school and we didn't have time. It was a great surprise for school!
After dropping Adam off Angie headed back to David's Valentine party. He was proud of his bag!
This was his favorite!
Making his Love Bug Hat
And then he walked around using his antennae - like a Love Bug Would, of course.
Graphing... Candy Hearts - yum.
The innocence of kindergarten - 5 classes of Love Bugs - it was just so sweet!
Face Painting with his student teacher Ms. Fowler.
Such a super fun day - it was hard to go to work!
