Last Week of Kindergarten

David finishes a great year of kindergarten this year.  He has had the absolute best year of learning and being loved by his teacher.  She has made it a great last week with a fun there each day.

Thursday was camping day.  David took two tents, a flash light, and his blankie to read.  They made s'mores around a pretend campfire and worked on their story telling.

Friday was Mad Scientist day.  The class did fun messy experiments all day and could dress like a scientist.

It was also graduation walk for seniors.  They walk the halls in the elementary schools that they graduate from.  David saw our nephew and our neighbor.
Here he is cheering them on.
Tuesday was pirate day.  Dress up like a pirate and use map skills to find the buried treasure.

Adam wanted to get in on the dress up action and came downstairs all on his own like this!

After school David shared his treasure after he made Adam listen to how to read a map.
Wednesday was Kindergarten Splash day... their end of year party.

Adam and Mama got to visit during the day too.

Today the class will celebrate with pizza and fruit at lunch before saying good bye one last time.
This year - as all of his others -  have been the greatest gift.  To send your child off into the world and know he will be loved and cared for just as he would in our care - it is a treasure!
