Voting season this year was something the boys actually had a lot of questions about. It was a topic of conversation among David and his friends. David was aware of all of the signs around our little town and our neighborhood. So, when Angie realized early voting began on her birthday that was her birthday request... a family voting date.
Adam was able to vote at school. He voted for cookies and was upset that vanilla ice cream won. He did not partake in the ice cream celebration.
Mama and Adam on her birthday morning!
After work we all headed to vote!
David voted with Angie and Adam voted with Greg. Angie let David push each candidate she was voting for. And he cast the ballot. Greg only let Adam cast the ballot. Both boys had fun being a part of the process this year. After we voted David went up to a local school board candidate to tell her that he "pushed the button for her." Angie did not tell him she didn't win the race... he was so excited he met an actual candidate on the ballot.

Such a thrill to see our grand kids take part in one of the most precious gifts of freedom bestowed upon Americans. So proud of David, Adam, Angie and Greg to make voting a family affair.
