David's Class Holiday Party And Adam's Birthday Party for Jesus

Last year David was sent home from school 2 hours before is class party with the flu.  And Angie had forgotten about this on party day this year until David came up to her during the party and said, "Mom, I love this party day.  I have never had a party at school before."  And he did have a party day in kinder, but didn't remember.  And just when we think he is so big - he reminds us that his world is till really small.  How innocent it was that this was such a big deal.

 

At Adam's school they celebrate with a birthday party for Jesus.  Everyone decorates their own cupcake.  They have a book exchange, and tehn Santa makes a little surprise visit.

So much fun!

 Adam told us this was a fake Santa because the real Santa has a square belt buckle and this Santa had a round belt buckle.  We suggested that Santa has 2 belts... he did not think that was likely.  Then Mama suggested that his first belt broke.  According to Adam Santa has a solid gold belt buckle so it can't break.  We decided to just let it go... but how interesting that Adam noticed the belt buckle.
