A week with 2 Boys

We got our first pepper of the summer from our garden this week.  David chopped it up for our spaghetti sauce for dinner.

Adam earned another Coaches Award at KidStrong.  He always does his best, preservers when something is hard, and comes happy each week to class.

David wore on of Gregs shirts to his tutoring session this week... his tutor noticed how nice he looked.

Angie went to check on Adam at lunch and found him with a Face Shield.  He told his teacher he needed protection at lunch from germs... this kid.  And his teacher is angelic and met his need.

Holly just watches the chaos pass in front of her each day... waiting for just a little attention.

This little reader came home from school, got comfy with his slippers, and settled in with a good book.
We are REALLY working on table manners.  We took the boys out to a restaurant that some of our friends are investors in - An Irish Pub.
David had ribs...
Adam had Beef Stew... both are still working on table manners.
David has loved learning about circuits this year... he made this flashlight at home.

David is reading a new series about a Track Team.  The main character in this book eats Sunflower seeds everyday after school - so guess what David now does... Sunflower seeds... and these have his name right on the top of the bag.
Adam has a classmate named Pham.  She is new to our country from Vietnam.  Adam has been reading a new series called Ling and Ting, Twins that are Asian.  He has loved this silly series of books about these sisters.
And he has loved sleeping in the playroom this week.
David had a reading marathon at school. He picked his own marathon clothes, and read up a storm.  This marathon is to increase children reading in volume as well as different genre.

It was a fun week!
