We took a family vacation to Dallas. Adam planned our trip for us.
We left early on a Saturday morning. We stopped in Waco for breakfast at Magnolia Table for 2 of us and Rudy's for the other 2 of us.
Our first stop was the Dallas Aquarium. Highly recommend this stop if you are in Dallas.
Adam chose this because of the penguins... here they are.
Adam is a flamingo.
Then we went to Greg's favorite Dallas spot for lunch, Braum's for lunch and ice cream.
Next up was the Gaylord hotel.
Adam chose this hotel because of the water park.
After exploring the hotel we went to the water park.
Then we headed to dinner...
We went to the Rainforest Cafe... surprisingly this was one of the boys favorite parts of the trip.
Then we rested. Adam and Angie went to sleep. Greg and David ordered chocolate cake from room service and watched Alone.
After exploring the hotel the next morning, watching the koi fish, and eating breakfast we went back to teh water park.
Adam really wanted a snow cone because of the new flavors this truck offered. It was nice because they were all dye free, but then Greg had a hard time telling how much syrup was on his.
Adam chose this snake as his souvenir. He also got one of these kinds of snakes on a trip he took with Mimi. HE has decided he will look for these on every vacation now. This was his favorite part of the weekend.
So many beautiful gardens in the hotel.
Heading home...
No road trip is complete without a trip to Buc-ees.
Such a nice family weekend.
