We went to Houston on Saturday to celebrate Grandad's 76th birthday and to celebrate Gram and Grandad for Grandparents Day. The boys did not want to leave Sunday to come back home... they had so much fun with Gram, Grandad, Luke, Lila, and Aunt Christie and Uncle Brian.
Grandad and David smoked chicken all afternoon Saturday for a yummy dinner and Gram filled the table with so many fresh veggie sides.
The kids played outside swinging, playing hide and seek, throwing the football.
Grandad took the kids to the driving range on Sunday, and we all had lunch together at the Country Club. Grandad and David took turns playing Grandad's dads guitar.
Gram made Grandad a birthday cake and we all thought we should try and visit more often.
It was a fun and fast 24 hours.
