Happy Birthday America!

This morning we participated in the Fourth of July parade in our neighborhood. Mimi and Grandpa Ed let us borrow David's wagon and even bought David a balloon to add a little sparkle to his ride. David had a great time and so did Mommy and Daddy. Here are the highlights of our morning!

Daddy, David, and Bella on our way to the parade
David is so excited to be in the parade - hands up it is a fun ride!

Daddy and David waving bye to the fire truck; it led our parade.

After the parade there were refreshments and play time at the park.
David was not in the mood to take a picture with Mommy - he wanted to play at the park
However, he is always ready for a picture with Daddy!

David found this cooler full of water and continued to hand Greg one water bottle at a time. He is in to emptying containers right now and he could have done this activity for a while, but we were in the way of thirsty parade goers.

Resting and cooling off at home...

  1. We love the wagon. He surely appears to be a big boy riding so proudly in the red wagon. What a fabulous 4th of July parade in your own neighborhood.
