Night Night

It is always hard to put David to bed. We love playing with him and hearing him think out loud. As the summer days are getting longer he seems to be going to bed later and later. Tonight after his bath he asked for a bedtime snack. He ate it on the stairs with Daddy.  This was step one for prolonged bedtime.





















Step two was thumbing through his books to choose the books he wanted Daddy to read to him tonight. 











































Then David decided to sing himself a lullaby.  We felt lucky we got most of it on video:)


Last step and the one we love the most; Daddy reading to David before Mommy rocks and sings.  We don't ever want to forget even the simplest of tasks with this sweet little guy!

    These really are the sweetest times and memories. And, sometimes the most exhausting times after a long day. But anyway you look at it, the most rewarding of times. David, don't let the fish bite your little finger on the right!
