Halloween 2014

We had such a fun night with our two little guys.  To watch as they squealed and laughed and ran up and down the side walk together is one of the greatest treasures in being a parent.  To observe them become their character and the innocence in the simple task of saying hi and bye and trick or treat to every one we met - it was truly priceless.  Evenings like this are way more than candy and treats - it was about fun, joy, family, friends, crisp air, and a fall evening of together!
Happy Halloween from our Superman and Little Lion.

We began our evening by carving our pumpkin... and eating dinner at the same time.

finished product - David was proud.
 We added some glow paint
 And took him outside
Next up - time to put on our costumes - our Superman and Little Lion!

Off to Trick-or-Treat
Adam loves dogs this Halloween just as David did at 17 months on Halloween

 Time to sort the loot!

This lion was sneaky and opened his candy without anyone noticing...
David's first time to try out a piece of gum  - he decided it was good and surprise he really did not swallow it!
Then we went down to visit Cousins and Mimi and Grandpa Ed and Aunt Amy!

Hannah and Patrick wanted Adam's snack!

A little dancing in the cult-ta-sac
 Happy Halloween!

  1. How fun! Cute idea to carve the pumpkin with the stem as the nose. Adam is really walking and talking well!

  2. GRRRR! Such a scary little lion. Go Super Hero David! My what a fun and happy Halloween with family and friends. Cute idea to use the stem as a nose. Good to see Amy, Kayla and Krista, too.
Now, it is time for Thankful November!
