Voting Day

We do hope that our boys realize the importance and the gift they have as voters in this country one day.
David is voting today at school - his school election is one of great importance - ice cream or popsicle - what is your favorite?
Last Thursday, Angie was off to volunteer at David's fall festival, so after school she took the boys to vote.  Knowing she was working on election day this seemed like a good opportunity.
Angie did stop and talk with some candidates outside of the polling place because she was not quite decided on a few local positions.  The boys were incredibly patient and polite. Angie was even given a "Good Job Mom" and a "I can see these boys future is important to you already."  And well, it of course very much is something we think about every single day!
Once inside they had to wait in line, and still so patient and polite.  David helped to make some selections and actually cast the ballot and when all was finished Adam gave a little clap!
Here are our little voters!
(David made Adam's necklace for him at the fall festival.)
