After security we took our first photo of the day...
Everything was decorated for the season!
The boys first glimpses of the park - it was truly magical as we walked through the gate. So many smiling happy people and characters to greet us!
David did not want to take a photo at all - he wanted to ride a speed boat!
On our way to the Tea Cups...After our first ride the boys both wanted to ride again... as we came around the corner there was Alice from Alice and Wonderland. She talked with David...
She asked him to ride the tea cups with her...
He said no. He aid he said no because she is a girl, but we really don't think he quite understood that he could do this. So we skipped the second ride on the tea cups and went over to the raceway!
Adam and Grandpa Ed racing...
Daddy and David racing...
After that it was time for Dumbo - this was a favorite!
Next up was our first rollercoaster - The Barnstormer... Adam was too little, but David loved it and so his loe of rollercoasters begins!
Then we rode It's Small World - a classic that never gets old!
Adam rode the carrousel - something he has been talking about doing for months!
We headed to The Jungle Cruise after that. Our neighbor used to drive The Jungle Cruse Boats as a teenager so we took this picture for him and sent it while we were away.
Then it was snack time. David saw a video on The Disney Magical Express about the apples the confectionary makes at Disney World. So that is where we headed next....
Poor Adam fell asleep before lunch time - it was a busy morning.
He chose an apple for later, a cookie for Adam, and a cupcake for right then.
While he ate his snack we watched a live show in front of the castle. Captain Hook and Peter Pan were battling in the show and David was acting it out right along with the characters.
Buzz Light Year was next on our list...
Poor David - the blasters were covering his little head... But he got a great score.
We stopped for lunch. We took Adam back to our hotel and let him finish resting and he ate a quick lunch before we headed back to the park...
Back to the Magic Kingdom e went for a busy afternoon...
We headed to Winnie the Pooh...
The boys really enjoyed the island. We were only able to explore about a third of it because we had a baby with a dirty diaper. There was no facility on the island for that so we headed back to the boat to get the mainland.
After this Greg talked everyone into the Haunted Mansion - which was not a big hit with our boys and then it was dinner time.
At 7:30 Main Street was already crowded with onlookers scouting out spots for the Electric Light Parade to begin at 9:00. So Mimi was kind and held a place for us while we took the boys souvenir shopping - Grandpa Ed went to the hotel... it was a long day.
So cute!
Adam chose a book as his souvenir this night and so we headed back to the stroller to wait for the parade and read!
We were not allowed to take pictures during the parade - but we are so glad we stayed. The boys were exhausted and almost asleep by the time it began. However, once it started they were so excited. They were up yelling at the characters and waving and loved every minute!
We truly had a magical day!

How Fun! I'm glad they liked the light parade. The pictures make me want to go to the Magic Kingdom!
