Last weekend we had the opportunity to have breakfast with some of our local police officers. Just three days before the breakfast a police officer was killed in the neighborhood that Greg grew up in and that Angie currently works in. The boys decided to also make these police officer thank you cards.

Adam could not wait to give his card away. He interrupted this officer because he was so excited. And the officer was so very understanding and gracious.
David was as cute as can be. He dressed up in his SWAT helmet, cowboy boots, police belt with handcuffs, plastic gun, plastic night stick, and plastic police radio.
He had so many questions. He was full of smiles all morning.
We feel so fortunate to live in such a safe city!
