This year we decided to visit Santa before Thanksgiving. This very much confused the boys. Angie was thinking she wanted to do it during the day rather than at night when they both would be tired. And now that David is in school everyday Thanksgiving break seemed like our only option.
They were both so excited. Adam literally hopped all the way over to Santa and could not wait to see him. David was most excited at age three to see Santa too. The magic of this season in their little hearts is so contagious.
We had a great visit with Santa. He talked to the boys about his reindeer, specifically Rudolph, who apparently will lick the roof skylights to get Santa's attention. The boys asked Santa what his favorite cookies are... he named every type you can imagine and then said chocolate chip are his favorite. What?! we don't make those at Christmas. We leave sugar cookies... it looks like we will add these this year to our baking list.
So much fun to be their parents.

ReplyDeleteMy goodness Adam has a mighty long list - how did he recall all of those toys? David seemed a bit reserved but I guess he is getting older but both HAPPY boys!
