David's 100th day of kindergarten was Monday. He has been talking about this day since before winter break. Every Friday since the first week of school his entire grade level has been learning about Zero the Hero. - Zero makes 10 and every Friday they learned one more thing about this Hero. The student were treasure hunters and had to follow a treasure map to find more clues about the Zero the Hero. They also learned about Naughty Number Nine always was out to get Zero the Hero and mess up his counting to make 10. On the 100th day they both came for a visit.
So at David's school - you could dres up like you were a 100, or you could put 100 on a shirt, but most children wanted to dress like Zero the Hero.
David decided he wanted to be Super Six!
He pulled out his birthday shirt with a 6 on it. He wore his cape from his 4th birthday party - even though we have other bigger, blank capes. He was so excited!
Adam got to go too and he wore his 3 shirt!

HIs teacher gave everyone a high 10 as they came into the room!
Also, in David's class there was a 100's day breakfast. Our family provided pirate napkins, plates, and cups, and breakfast sausage. David's friends Megan's mom provided the pancakes. Other families brought syrup, and orange juice.
Then it was time to go find out if Zero the Hero came to school - Love the Pirate Flag his teacher made...
Adam sat right down with David and was perfectly behaved.
There he is - Zero the Hero - he came in on his skateboard.
And then Naughty Number Nine came... oh no!
David was asked to participate in the skit where he had to face off to the Naughty Number Nine!
He Loved It!
In the end Naughty Number Nine found a wish in the pirates treasure. He wished to count correctly like all of the kindergartners. There were also Gold Deplumes that everyone got.
