Houston Rodeo

Gram and Grandad treated us to the rodeo again this spring break.  We had so much fun!
Out Little Cow Pokes!

 We arrived!

 Ponies are always up first.
Adam didn't want to ride this year.

 They loved this calf...

 Adam wants a baby goat now...

 Fun on the Farm was next...

 This was the first year David was into the milking...

 And Adam loved the corn!

 David enjoyed the bunnies...

 But his real love came when we found the steer.

 While walking through and looking at the steer David asked a high school student if he could pet his steer.  His wish was granted.

 A few rows over a high school student came up to David and asked if he wanted to see his steer.  Of course David did... he pet him

 And brushed him.  But then the steer began to become agitated.  The cow next to him was getting fed and he was not.

 So, this man, the dad of a high school girl, offered to let David "ride" on one of her 4 steer.

 David was so happy!

 This was the steer next to the one David was on... he loved these animals.  He is now convinced he will lease some city land next to out house and raise a steer... he even told his teacher this plan when he returned to school.
