Pandemic Week 9 - Lasy Week of kindergarten and third grade

Saturday night was game night at our house with Greg's family.  The boys enjoyed the game spoons. Jake briught his girlfriend to town for everyone to meet.

Sunday the boys went swimming at a neighbors house - their first swim of the summer!

Monday began the last week of kinder and third grade.

Each day Adam's teacher had a theme.  They met together and she had activities, songs, and snacks that went with the theme.  Monday was pirate day.

Monday afternoon David discovered that Ed had trapped a racoon.  Ed didn't even know how long it had been on the trap.

Tuesday morning was supply pick up.  Both boys drove through and their supplies were loaded into the car.  They saw Aunt Amy and David's first grade teacher.

Tuesday was also kinder campout.  David joined Adam on his own each day... thats how fun Adam's teacher made each day on the last week of school.

Adam, on his own, chose his kindergarten shirt to wear this day.

Wedneday was mad science day... we have no pictures, but it was fun.  Adam also had his first friend of quarentine over to play putside.  He was so excited because we had been allowing David to play with one friend.

Thursday was the last day of school.

David met with his class for the last time...

And they sang him happy birthday just as they would have at school... his birthday was the following day.

Adam took a class gift to his teacher and left it on her front porch. The clas collected money and gave her a gift card to her favorite craft store.

And they had an awards ceremony...

Adam's teacher also made her class a class picture because picture day came and went and we never returned to school.

Adam's class made his teacher a movie.  This is what Adam submitted for the clip of him...

Thursday evening there was a parade for all of the graduating seniors... this was fun.  And so many smiles!

After the parade we went through the neighborhood on a walk and David was doing stunits for the last time as a nine year old.

Adam moved up to a bigger bike... so big.

And David fell asleep for the last time as a nine year old.

Time moves so fast.

We made it to summer!
