David's First Trip To Sea World

David took his first trip to Sea World over the Father's Day Weekend; we all had a wonderful time.  Mimi and Grandpa Ed were with us too... David has already asked several times to go back to the hotel and to Sea World.  There was plenty for David to do, even at his age of two.  What a great family weekend we had!
We left Friday afternoon during David's nap time.  He did sleep in the car, but was very hungry for dinner by the time we arrived and were settled.  Here he is trying to be patient and wait for his dinner.

after dinner we tried to get David to swim in the hotel pool, a very nice evening and a very nice pool.  He was not interested... he wanted to hang out in " his hotel."

We finally talked him in to going down to make S mores

 There was a context outside during S mores for anyone to sing or tell a joke.  David decided he wanted to sing.  He went up got the microphone and started Jesus Loves Me.  However, when he heard his voice come back out of the speaker he decided that was not what he wanted to do.  The crowd heard David sing "Jesus" and then he was done.
After the contest, Cars was shown outside.  David joined a group of boys that were sitting down in front.  He cozied up to this complete stranger...

David became very distracting for all others and we decided it was bedtime for our little guy.
The next morning we arrived at the park early...

Mimi had tickets for Breakfast with Elmo for David.  He ate a great breakfast... for David we were thrilled

 Then the Sesame Street Characters came to breakfast and David could not contain his excitement, his little legs were kicking so fast and he was screaming across the room every one's name as they came in.  It made every one's day to see David so happy!

 Then the kids got to play hide and seek with their new friends.  Here is Cookie hiding...

 David ran right past him... where is cookie?

 Then it was David's turn to hide...

 Ernie found him!

 Then it was photography time... David was still so excited to see his two favorites, Elmo

 and Abby

Then it was off to see some shows - Shamu...

David loved the show, this was his face the first time Shamu jumped out of the water and he saw the whale, priceless

Next show was Elmo rocks

 This show the kids are encouraged to go down to the stage and rock (Dance)

 so David danced and ran and loved the show

 He even came back with some streamers from the finale

We saw Azul in the afternoon

Then it was time for some rides

 This was David's very favorite, he rode it three or four times

In the heat of the day it was nice David could splash around a bit

 We had a fun day at Sea World!
The next morning David played a little at the hotel before the long ride home
