Today was our last day of VBS and once again our family was blessed to participate in a week of learning and praising. We had 814 children, 221 youth, and 150 volunteers this week at Riverbend and our cups have been filled. The highlight came tonight when those 814 voices filled the stage and sang praises to our God; there is truly no sweeter sound. We are very thankful to have a church home that has a caring, creative, and selfless children's department! Here are a few pictures from the week:

David had to eat breakfast on the run this week; he loved eating his waffle at church!
The dress rehearsal for tonight was this morning after morning assembly... preschool was first
then elementary... tonight for the performance that stage was filled as the two sections were combined
We were Zapped this week by the Power of God's love and strength. We learned to listen, focus, and trust our God... what a great week! David is even singing the songs, hope to get video of that soon!
Whee! So much fun learning about the power of God' love at VBS. It is hard work for adults but so but fun memories for the kids- reward for all. I am so glad David enjoyed himself - even eating his breakfast on the go.
