How blessed we are to have received the gift of freedom just by being born into this country.  Freedom is a gift that most of the time we take for granted.

We are thankful for those who have fought for this gift ~ from the citizen soldiers fighting the professional British soldiers in the Revolutionary War to the brave Men and Women that are fighting on this very day.

 Because of this gift we have the blessings of liberty

and independence

 Today we celebrate our Nations Birthday!

 We remember that our Fore Fathers had a vision of a land

that was a more perfect union

 where citizens could find find justice and tranquility

 where the blessing of liberty would be secured

What are we doing with our freedom?  Today we stop and remember, but honestly on a day to day basis this liberty is something that is lost, and really as we look at this little guy it is something we want to make sure will be here for his future.  What have we done with the freedom that was bought for us; have we lost our way?
As we celebrate today with neighbors, friends and family, we hope to remember the vision of our founding fathers and those citizen soldiers in the Revolutionary War that believed so strongly in liberty that they gave their lives for us, who take that same liberty for granted!
Happy Birthday America and we hope to be better stewards of this blessing of independence and liberty!
