Well as parents for the last five and a half years we have been able to avoid most common childhood sickness. We have not experienced ear infections, strep throat, etc. But yesterday after church we knew something was different. It seems cedar fever with Adam turned into our first ear infection.
After a trip to urgent care it was determined this little guy would need antibiotics. Thankful that we have options, but for a little guy that refuses medicine the last 24 hours have been hard. We may be back at the pediatrician today - he says he wants a shot instead.
Poor Adam! I know how it is to have a sick one that won't take medicine:( I hope he feels better very soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, Adam has such a miserably sad facial expression. It is no fun having an earache.You were about 2 years old when we got our first earache and you were hurting! Hope Adam is on the road to recovery pronto!
