Tie Shoes

And one morning at 7:13 David declared he needed to wear his tie shoes.  These were hand me downs from a neighbor.  They are two sizes too big and very worn.  But he insisted and being too big and not being able to tie were not good reason to wears his Velcro shoes.
And so off to school he went.  A quick text message to his teacher to explain.  And she texted back... lots of perseverance today. I asked him to wear them tomorrow too... he almost has it.
And then there was no going back.  On day two he learned to tie and has never put back on those Velcro shoes.
