NYC

Angie had to travel to NYC for work.  This was the first time she had ever left the boys more than 24 hours.  She was gone Saturday through Wednesday.  She left Saturday without seeing the boys and arrived home Wednesday after they were asleep.  She missed them both and Greg, but learned so much.  And Greg proved to be Super Dad.
Angie with Amanda Hartman on Angie's birthday.  Amanda Hartman is someone Angie has followed for about 10 years and Angie had 3 sessions with her on the 22nd.
IT felt great to be back in this place after 7 years away.
A quick stop in central park...
The school Angie was teaching in in Brooklyn.
Rainy days in the city mean rain boots line the halls.
And scooters litter the front steps of the school

A playground in NYC... it is so different, but oh so magical here.
And Greg held down the fort at home taking the boys on so many adventures!

Angie received this from a sweet friend one afternoon...

Greg even took the boys to Target...
 BBQ steaks for dinner...
 And held a garage sale.

 There was reading time...
And someone got a new to him pair of boots - to grow in to.
Angie's parents happened to be in the city one night when Angie was - so to Greenwich Village for dinner.
Angie's cousin also lives in Brooklyn so he met us too.
It was fun - but was so nice to be back home with these two boys.
 College Shirt day ready!

  1. What a fun (and exhausting) trip! I know you worked hard the entire time. I'm glad you got to go!

  2. Appears as though Greg and the boys did fairly well on their own for a few days... and Greg took them to Target?? Yes, our time in NY was magically fun!
Glad everyone is back together safe and sound,
    Love, Grandad and Gram
