8 days of Christmas and Winter Celebrations

This year at school there were 8 days of Christmas... themes to dress up with for a more festive feel in school.  The boys were all in and Angie too... it made the last 9 days of school fly by!

Grinch Day - wear anything Grinchy... Angie wore green pants and the boys wore green shirts.

Tree Topper Day...

Feliz Navidad! - Be Merry and Bright!
Rockin' Around the Tree - Rock Star Atire.

Elf Yourself Day!
Angie saw this cute elf at lunch!
Ugly Sweater Day... we just wore Christmas shirts.
Twas the Night Before Winter Break... wear your pj's.
David and his teacher in PJ's.

There were no winter parties this year.  But Adam had a semester writing celebration. Angie was the only parent allowed to attend... and everyone read their writing to her.  She also recorded each student to send to the families and caregivers to celebrate the work of first grade writers!
Adam wrote a letter to Santa... David wrote one too in first grade.  It is fun to see how they each were as first graders.  Adam is on the left - David on the right.
And David too had a big writing project.  He is becoming an essayist and his volume of writing is just incredible.

He has no holiday party either, but he built a circuit out of Christmas Lights and Angie was invited in... his was the first to work.  He even made his before his teacher.
It was a fun last few days, but we are so happy to have time at home together.
