7 Months Already Gone

On this Christmas Eve our baby turns 7 months old.  This, his first Christmas, is so special and has just rushed by in a flash.  It is funny how just a year ago we were not even sure if this baby was to be a boy or girl and now one year later he has  changed our world.  He is a happy boy ~ usually easy going.  He loves his brother.  He can melt our hearts with a big grin and giggle. 
His life is such an incredible gift and this day puts Jesus' birth as such a reminder that out of the ordinary things can come something extraordinary.  Jesus, our Greatest gift  - the Savior of the world, was born in a stable where shepherd's, ordinary shepherds, came by faith leaving their "jobs" listening to an angel to follow the Star to Jesus, a tiny infant, who changed the world, in one moment in time.  To think that this moment from the outside seemed rather ordinary, a mother, a baby, a few visitors, but it changed the world.
Adam will probably not change the world, but he has changed us, our family, our hearts.
Adam is now talking often, chewing and drooling always, and teaching us how to just enjoy this stage of our family life!
