It has taken a couple of weeks - but finally our tree is up and our house is as decorated as it will be this Christmas.
David really enjoyed hanging ornaments on the tree for the first time this year... and we only broke two. This was a fun family memory. It is hard having David grow so fast, but it is fun seeing how our traditions are becoming fun memories for him.

2nd Sunday in Advent... Again David is not thrilled about only putting one item in the Nativity each day. But he does like lighting the candle each week... go figure.
David has rearranged our village 100 time already this Christmas and yes pieces are now missing and broken
Greg did our lights this year and they look great...
our tree is finished
and our house is cozy and quiet...
this season does bring joy and hope and lots of thankfulness...
