These are probably Angie's most valued ornaments at this stage in our life - David's foot print at 2 weeks, Adam's footprint at 3 weeks, David's handprint at 3 years and his picture at 18 months.
Our first gingerbread house - David did all of the work and it turned out very well
Elfie - each morning it is so fun to hear David as he wakes up talking to Elfie as he hunts around the house for him. One morning he was in our wreath... when we asked David where he found Elfie he said, "He is in the grass!"
The art work of this season is enough to make any Mama a little teary...
And the memoires of finding David's added touches to our decorations... his crane was added one morning while Angie was feeding Adam and 2 weeks later it is still hanging right there on our tree...
cookie decorating at Mimi's with the cousins...
Baking cookies for Santa with Mommy...
time for sprinkles...
a lot of
sprinkles...
ready for the oven...
while Mommy took a break to feed Adam David continued. He came to Angie and said, "I made a special snowman for Santa." I hope Santa likes Sprinkles... David used the entire bottle!
these our Greatest gifts, under the tree,
The details - the small immeasurable things that make all of the difference. Without these details we miss the story of love and family and little hands and feet that grow bigger each year. We miss the special in this season. The smallest of details - they matter!
